We kindly ask that you refrain from entering other spaces upstairs other than your unit. There are businesses and residents that share the building and we believe in the utmost respect of their spaces.

Good to know

This is a sunny and cozy one-bedroom apartment with a stylish and updated kitchen in a vintage style. A luxurious bathroom with high-end tile and linens. Enjoy the record player, wi-fi and smart tv in your downtime, plus the night life downstairs if you want to step out. Private keyed entrance. The apartment is above the Friendly Music Community which does play music throughout the day, and often has live music in the evenings. If you’re traveling with little ones, or need absolute quiet to sleep…this might not be the best location for you. Many of guests say the noise is not a problem for them, but we just want to ensure you are aware of the space that you are booking.

I absolutely loved this stay! The place was very clean and matched the descriptions perfectly, and communication with the host was excellent as well! Would love to come back and stay at this location once again.

Lacy was very helpful with my checking and checkout, this apt is outside from downtown but u got several options to get in there, lacy was very friendly and always answered my doubts. If I’ve got the opportunity to get back to Chicago, I’m gonna booked the songbird apt. Thanks for all.

Rob had a wonderful and cozy place to stay near the city with great prices in the Cafe downstairs. Would definitely recommend for any traveler that needs somewhere close to the city and enjoys privacy during the nights. I would happily book with Rob again the next time I'm in Chicago!

The songbird suite was an amazing stay. We had plumbing issues and had to find a quick last temporary stay for the night and they helped us get settled and checked in around midnight— very congenial and hospitable. We loved the location only thing is we wish we there longer to hang out in their coffee shop and bar

Loved the place, loved the vibe and the nice people in the area. The hosts were very friendly and run a wonderful coffee shop with so many yummy drinks to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

Lacey greeted us at friendly tap gave clear instructions and was very friendly and easy going. The place was perfect for us to go to a concert at Fitzgerald’s right down the street.

The apartment was exactly as described and pictured. Everything listed and that we needed was available, and we liked that the place felt like an actual apartment rather than somebody’s copy-and-paste rental property. It was a very comfortable stay — if we ever have reason to stay in the area again we’d love to come back. Easy to find and easy check-in/out process. Private, secure entrance. Parking was never a problem, you just have to read instructions (which were very clear). Tons of restaurants and things to do right around the apartment, and there was live music in the bar every night we were stayed. Great central location if you’re spending time both in and out of the city. Rob was communicative and responded immediately when we had a question about check-out. I’m sure if we’d needed anything during our stay he’d have been on top of it.

This place was a perfect stay!! Very homey, cozy, and the decor was so cute!! AC was glorious in this heat. It’s in a great location, and it was overall an excellent stay. Would definitely come back again!

The place was basic in a good way. It was a clean and comfortable place to eat, sleep, and hang out a little for a few days while I went to activities in the area. The hosts own and work in the coffee shop downstairs. When hosts aren't there the staff is equally friendly and helpful. I'll be there again the next time I'm in the area.
