We had such a great time staying here! Rob and Lacy were so welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with them and visiting the coffee shop and bar! Beautiful place and the decor is amazing. A truly unique stay, will be back again.

My friends and I absolutely adored our stay, friendly environment, we felt right at home. The hosts were extremely inviting and we got to know them nicely during our stay. Everything in the airbnb worked great, very clean, comfortable, and as stated in the description. Definitely recommend staying here while visiting Chicago if you want to make your stay worthwhile. We hope to come back! :)

This is such a cool and unique place. If you love history, this is a place to stay. It’s retro themed and very convenient to shops, pubs and restaurants.

Rob was able to host my group for an extremely last minute reservation when our prior reservation fell through. He was very responsive and friendly, and the rental was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Rob and Lacy were excellent hosts, and the place is so charming. The building has a lot of history and local color, and the Berwyn neighborhood feels safe and homey. I would definitely stay here again!

The Airbnb apartments at Friendly’s are fun spaces with musical themes and the best hosts you’ll ever find. Friendly’s is a community hub with a coffeehouse, bar and music school. Their airbnb spaces are vintage apartments with character! We stayed in both the Abbey Road Retreat and the Rock n Roll Retreat. Abbey Road is a rear apartment with beautiful built ins and a clawfoot tub. A perfect place to crash for a couple or small group of friends who are on an urban exploration of all Oak Park/Berwyn/Chicago have to offer. Rock n Roll is a larger sunny 2nd floor flat with high ceilings, and a better kitchen and bathroom. Note: Friendly’s bar is right below the apartment so you will hear sound if there’s a band or musical act performing while you are there. Rob and Lacy and the Friendy’s staff live up to their name! Loved our stay!
